Application: QuickBooks MCP Server ("the App")
The App is a private integration tool that connects AI assistants to QuickBooks Online via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It is operated solely by its owner for personal and business use. It is not a commercial product and is not listed on the QuickBooks App Store.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit personal information about end users. The App accesses QuickBooks Online company data solely on behalf of the authenticated account holder through Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization framework.
QuickBooks Online data accessed by the App is used exclusively for accounting operations requested by the authorized user. Data is not shared with third parties, used for marketing, or aggregated across accounts.
OAuth credentials (access tokens and refresh tokens) are stored securely using Azure Key Vault or AWS Secrets Manager depending on deployment configuration. Credentials are encrypted at rest and in transit. No QuickBooks financial data is permanently stored by the App.
The App integrates with:
OAuth tokens are retained only as long as the connection to QuickBooks Online is active. When the connection is revoked, stored tokens are invalidated and no longer usable.
The account holder may disconnect the App from their QuickBooks Online company at any time through their QuickBooks account settings, which immediately revokes the App's access.
